Titre:  « The proliferation of scientific misconducts: a plague for science and society in the 21st century »

Résumé:

Over the last few decades, there has been a worrying increase in misconduct in the research community. They generally result in the retraction of articles, because of falsified or even invented results, methodological bias, plagiarism, etc… Disseminated and amplified by the media and social networks, these misconducts have negative impacts on society (health for example) but also induce a loss of confidence of citizens towards scientific research and researchers.  Through some recent and even current examples this presentation shows the consequences of such misconducts in our society.
