Congratulations to Dr. Gloria Vigueras from the University of Murcia (Spain) who just obtained a prestigious 2-year Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Fellowship to join the group of Prof. Gilles Gasser at the Institute of Chemistry for Life and Health Sciences of Chimie ParisTech, PSL University.

Gloria will work on a project named EcoPDI in collaboration with Dr. Kristjan Plaetzer from Paris Lodron University Salzburg (PLUS) in Austria with the aim to design and prepare compounds as photosensitizers for photodynamic inactivation (PDI) of resistant bacteria and fungi in plants. These species are of high concern taking into account the rising demand for food in the work.
