Chimie ParisTech-PSL welcomes Professor Matthias Ernzerhof as Visiting Professor

As part of the MaMa ERC Advanced Grant project led by Professor Carlo Adamo, the Theoretical Chemistry and Modeling team of the i-CleHS laboratory is pleased to welcome Professor Matthias Ernzerhof (Université de Montréal) as a visiting professor.
An internationally recognized expert in density functional theory (DFT), Professor Ernzerhof is one of the most influential contributors in this field. He is notably the author of widely used methods such as PBE (Perdew–Burke–Ernzerhof) and HSE (Heyd–Scuseria–Ernzerhof). His 1996 article on the PBE method, published in Physical Review Letters (77, 3865), ranks as the fourth most cited research article of all time, reflecting the exceptional impact of his work.
This visit reflects the strong commitment of Chimie ParisTech-PSL to fostering international scientific collaboration at the highest level.
