Vue intérieure de la bibliothèque centrale de Chimie ParisTech

Over 300 printed periodicals, 2,600 electronic periodicals, monographs and reference series can be viewed at Chimie ParisTech - PSL’s library.
With a subscription, students and teachers can view a number of specialized journals and access databases both on-site and remotely thanks to the RENATER identity federation.

Chimie ParisTech - PSL is a member of the Couperin consortium.

Located in a beautiful setting, the library is home to an important heritage of scientific instruments dating from the early twentieth century, as well as medals and photographs that are permanently displayed there. A true treasure, the restored and digitized archives of Charles Friedel (1832-1899) let us discover the experiments carried out by the school’s founder. His 15 laboratory notebooks, rich photographic collections and handwritten letters addressed to other scientists and his students offer a unique testimony and a glimpse of the epistemological-historical landscape of the time.
