Thanks to numerous and growing ties, Chimie ParisTech - PSL offers international students high-level courses in Chemistry that allow them to explore the many facets of the discipline linked to areas such as materials, energy, environment, and health. The school’s reputation is based on training through research. Whether it is for a semester or a year, our training allows students to acquire additional skills or strengthen them.
In addition, as the school is in the heart of Paris, the student experience is also cultural. Each year, over a dozen international students come to Chimie ParisTech - PSL.
Course offer
The school welcomes international students via bilateral agreements or international exchange programmes for at least one-semester study periods in the different degrees it is involved.
In the engineering degree
Students are welcome in:
- 2nd year spring semester (January to March / June): Check the Syllabus. Some options are in English (see below)
- 3rd year fall semester (September to January): Check the Syllabus. Courses are in French or English.
The courses taken are Master’s level (M1 or M2). During the 2nd semester of our 2nd year, students are required to do a 5-month traineeship. International students can also have this opportunity and start looking for a placement as soon as they receive positive answer from us. Having a good knowledge of French will help you finding an internship in a business, internships in laboratories are easier to find.
English engineering tracks
Since 2019, Chimie ParisTech - PSL has developed tracks in English in the second year of engineering (M1 level). Thanks to the specificities of our engineering curricula, you may also choose some units in management, languages etc. Students can now choose among those options to design their study plan:
Scientific options (12 ECTS) | Management options (6 ECTS) | Other options (2 ECTS) | Professional project (12 ECTS) |
---|---|---|---|
Analytical and Bio Chemistry (ABC) (very limited places) | Management English or French as foreign language Technology Team project | PSL Week (scientific courses in another part of University PSL) | 5 months internship (public or private sector) |
Materials, Processes, formulation, bio-interface | Individual project / tutoring English or French as foreign language Technology Team project | Additional language (English or French) |
In the Master’s degree Integrative Chemistry & Innovation
