International partnerships at Chimie ParisTech-PSL: diversifying and strengthening cooperation with leading world universities

Chimie ParisTech-PSL, France’s leading chemical engineering school and an international research center, is pursuing its international development policy by exploring the possibility of cooperation with Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico and reaffirming its double degree partnership with Shanghai Jiao-Tong University in Shanghai.
New partnership with Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico. The Rector General of Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), Dr. José Antonio de los Reyes Heredia, was received on June 10 by Christian Lerminiaux, Director of the school, accompanied by Fethi Bedioui, Gilles Gasser and Severine Fogel (International Relations Department), Ilaria Ciofini (Research Department) and Anne Varenne (PSL Graduate Chemistry Program Department). This first institutional exchange highlighted a shared vision.
Consolidating the existing partnership with Shanghai University. The President of Shanghai Jiao-Tong University (SJTU), DING Kuiling (accompanied by Ms GUO Liang, Deputy Director of the Department of International Affairs and Cooperation, Ms QI Guifang, Director of the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology International Relations Office and Ms Martina Annelies PITTIUS, Project Manager, Office of European and Australian Partnerships, Department of International Affairs and Cooperation) were received on June 4 by Christian Lerminiaux, Director of Chimie ParisTech – PSL, accompanied by Fethi Bedioui, Director of International Relations. The visit provided an opportunity for both establishments to reinforce the continuation and consolidation of the existing partnership between the two institutions.
