EELISA STAFF ADMINISTRATIFS

As part of the European university EELISA’s staff exchange programme, a delegation from Chimie ParisTech-PSL travelled to Madrid in June 2025 for two days of meetings and discovery. This professional and intercultural immersion allowed participants to reflect on their own practices, strengthen their skills, and build lasting connections with their counterparts at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

A unique experience at the heart of the EELISA European University. On June 20 and 21, 2025, a delegation from Chimie ParisTech-PSL took part in an exchange mission at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), within the framework of the EELISA (European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance) programme, of which the school is a member.
The delegation included the Secretary General, the Finance Director, the Director of Human Resources, and the Legal Affairs Officer. The visit was organised by Séverine Fogel, Deputy Director of International Relations at Chimie ParisTech-PSL. The programme combined institutional presentations, infrastructure tours, and peer-to-peer bilateral exchanges with their Spanish counterparts.

An innovative format supporting mobility for support services. Traditionally less involved in international mobility, administrative staff are offered through this programme a flexible, rewarding format that proves directly useful in their daily professional activities. Each participant was invited to define the topics they wished to explore and was matched with the most relevant contacts within UPM. The outcome: concrete exchanges on management practices, mutual inspiration, and the development of both professional and intercultural skills.

Towards a more connected EELISA community. This first mission left a lasting impression. Beyond individual benefits, participants expressed their desire to continue the experience by hosting a delegation from another EELISA member institution. This type of mobility, both enriching and impactful, reinforces the sense of belonging to the European university under construction and helps build sustainable bridges between administrative services. A promising dynamic to nurture… and renew!
