International mobility can take the form of an internship in an academic laboratory or a company abroad.
For engineering students, this mobility can take place:
- In the second semester of the second year after the course period (April to August)
- Throughout the second semester of the second year, combining an internship and courses (the internship is usually carried out in a university laboratory; note that at Chimie Pekin, it takes place in a company)
- In the second semester of the third year for their final year project.
Finding a host organisation is primarily an individual undertaking for the student. However, the International Relations Office provides support by:
- Acting as a source of information for students from previous years who have done internships abroad
- Relaying internship offers
- Collecting internship opportunities offered by researchers partnering with the school's lecturers and researchers
- Opening up opportunities through the school's and PSL's partnerships
- Establishing cross-programme research internships with the possibility of scholarships (Monash University and Rice University).
